Exercise

This page explains the posts I will be adding in the exercise category. They are intended to help inspire you to exercise and to offer links and helps as I learn them.

This is something that I am trying to work on myself. So, we can make efforts together and offer suggestions.

It is important to exercise in order to improve your mood, digestion, and circulation; strengthen your bones and muscles; and get your lymph system going (The lymph system cleanses your body, but only when you move). Exercise is important for weight loss.  It’s one of the ways your body will use the fat that is in storage if you are overweight.

For women who are having troubles getting going, you may want to have a look at the body clutter section of  flylady. Walking is an easy and free way to start.

    Nice website, Janet! Lovin’ it! I’m also going to give you a couple more suggestion Mark and I have lately come across that you can research and maybe add to your website–or not–you decide. Have you ever heard of the book “The Body Code”? It closely coincides with the Color Code personality types and also goes into more depth on specific excercise and nutrition for the different types (for instance, gonad types should NOT body build/strenght train their lower bodies, they should do cardio and only tone upper body). Also, we just barely started a vegan juice cleanse after watching “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead”, which you can find on Netflix instant streaming. Check them out and let me know what you think.
