Getting the Right Moisturizing and Healing Nutrition for Your Skin and Body
Getting the right moisturizing and healing nutrition for your skin and body is something that many people are interested in. People don’t want wrinkles, dryness, painful cracks, or sunburns.
Using moisturizers can be dangerous to your health. It’s good to know about some simple and effective ways to moisturize your skin that are healthy for your skin.

There are layers of skin that absorb lotion and then go to the blood stream. If you can't eat it don't put it on your skin.
The important thing to know about is that whatever you put onto your skin in the form of lotion, moisturizers, toners, and other skin-care products ends up getting soaked into the blood stream. So, you don’t want to put anything onto your skin that isn’t something you would drink or eat, because it will get soaked into your bloodstream and could make you sick.
My husband has been a certified massage therapist and gave me a massage with a lotion that had lots of natural ingredients including various special oils and lavender. However, it also had other ingredients that I normally wouldn’t eat and maybe it was too much of the lavender. I felt temporarily sick all over hours later. I don’t think it was too good for my liver to have to filter all that out in order to save my life.
So, when it comes to putting a product onto my skin, I am very careful about my choices. For dry skin or just for daily protection, I would only use extra-virgin coconut oil or extra-virgin olive oil.
Those are some plain and simple ingredients that I don’t mind becoming nourishment in my blood cells for my body. My skin gets the best nourishment and my body has safe nutrients.
The health benefits of extra-virgin coconut oil are many as shown on this link. Not only will it help to heal bruises, acne, burns and wrinkles, but once absorbed into the body there are many more benefits for your general health.
It is great for the heart, for weight loss, the immune system, and your energy level. You can eat a spoonful of this yummy stuff or put it on your skin for protection. Either the coconut oil or the olive oil can also help to reverse acne. One of my past posts deals with acne here.

Sophia Loren was an Italian movie star, who used olive oil to keep her skin young looking and healthy.
And then, there is the ancient Greek, Egyptian, and Mediterranean secret that women have used for centuries for beautiful, younger skin and that is the extra-virgin oil. It’s a natural sunscreen too.
And, there are many ways to use this olive oil as found on this link. It’s absorbed easily and doesn’t make you end up with a greasy face as you would think. And, it’s rich in nutrients, which you can learn about here. You can also use it to clean your face with this method.
I like to use a squirt bottle that you can get at a dollar store and preferably one that isn’t plastic as oil tends to leach toxic plastic elements into the solution. I like to get my face wet first, then take a few drops of the mix and rub it around my face, onto my hands, arms, and even onto the heels of my feet where it can really get dry.
The combination of the water and oil is very hydrating as a moisturizer for the skin.
Another thing that is helpful is to add a few drops of essential oil of lavender. Lavender has many helpful properties.
It will alleviate a sunburn about as good as aloe vera, which would also be a good addition to the bottle. But, you might have to keep the aloe vera separate in the fridge so that it could stay fresh and then apply it along with the oily moisturizer.
Other things that are good for your skin and body is to keep it hydrated by drinking plenty of pure water. See this post to learn about how to determine the amounts of water to drink .
One thing that will really make your skin beautiful and healthy is to drink fresh raw vegetable juices. I have a Jack La Lane Juicer that I really like. It’s a good way to get plenty of nutrition for your skin and body and make you feel pretty. The vitamin A in carrots helps the skin to be healthier.
Getting the right moisturizing and healing nutrition for your skin and body helps you to have hydrated and beautifully healthy skin along with a healthy body.
