Spring 2012 Classes by Janet Hailstone
For the spring semester, I will be doing three different sessions of classes. If you are interested, you will need to call Dixie State College Community Education 435-652-7675 or register online at ce.dixie.edu. Here is the current information about the classes I’ll be teaching:
Cooking – Maximum Weight Loss
This is a very effective and healthy way to lose weight. Those who have tried this plant-based program that was developed by a medical doctor report improved health and the final way to lose weight most effectively after trying everything else. It has worked for many people. There will be a demonstration during each class to help you see and enjoy a new way of eating that you will want to stick with once you find out how much more energy you have and the better health you enjoy. Exercise is also important and will be covered. Those who have tried this diet report reversal of health problems, best weight loss, and more energy. There will be a guide book with instructions, 100 recipes, and menu plans.

If you have arthritis, diabetes, cancer, heart problems, or other health challenges, you will want to consider using a lot more beans in your menu plans. They are nutrient dense with lots of vitamins and minerals. There will be demonstrations on how to soak, sprout, and cook beans for some healthy, tasty, no-cholesterol, no saturated-fat meals. You will see how to make Yummy Taco Sald, Hawaiian Haystacks with Chicken-flavored Bean gravy and Tasty Bean Burgers and then enjoy a healthy meal each class. Many people who have tried this new lifestyle have experienced reversal of pain and disease. These are the results of some who give this diet a try: relief from arthritis, fibromyalgia, heart disease, acid reflux, constipation, headaches, depression and just about every other ailment. You can have more energy, better sleep, healthy weight loss, and a stronger immune system. We will cover how to get your calcium and protein with plant foods, enjoy some tasty recipes to get started with and have open discussions to address all concerns, questions, and comments.
