The Benefits of the Maximum Weight Loss Program

Here is how the yo-yo dieting works.

With so many of the weight loss diets, people lose weight and then they gain it all back plus more. Then, they try another one and get even more discouraged in their efforts that seem all for nothing.

Well, I teach a Maximum Weight Loss class for Community Education at Dixie State College. And, personally, I think this is the best way to go if you seriously want to get trim, stay trim, and have energy too.

I use the book called The McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss by John A. McDougall, M.D.  This medical doctor has helped hundreds of thousands of people lose weight fastest and have better health in the process.   • Eat as much as you want

In addition to this, you’ll also get more benefits that include those listed on the cover of his other book titled The McDougall Program – 12 Days to Dynamic Health.

  • Lose weight and feel great
  • Reduce cholesterol
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Decrease or eliminate your need for medication
  • Avoid costly and unnecessary surgery

So, what’s the catch? Well, you have to eliminate animal products, junk food, anything made with flour, and anything that is high in fat. But, you can have plenty of fat-burning, high-fiber starchy and non-starchy vegetables, two fresh fruits a day,  and all kinds of beans and  steamed whole grains. The fiber carries out the fat. You can use certain, no-fat condiments, drink water and herbal tea. Yippee! :)

He also recommends about 30 minutes or more  of daily, moderate exercising to help burn the fat and maintain muscle mass. You’ll have energy to do that with these types of foods.

It’s a pretty strict program, but even the people who do it and cheat some here and there do really well.  It’s your choice. There are a zillion diets out there to try, but this is the one I’d recommend for maximum weight loss. You don’t have to count calories or go hungry. The benefits far outweigh any downsides.
